Introduction

The Eco Clipper FM6 x AgXeed is a 6.15-meter-wide, front-mounted electric Rotary Mowers , specifically developed for integration with AgXeed’s autonomous tractor platforms. The machine is intended for businesses that want to maintain large grassy areas autonomously, such as turf growers and airport grounds managers, and combines high mowing capacity with full control via the AgXeed control system.

Integration with AgXeed

Whereas conventional front mowers operate independently of the tractor, the Eco Clipper FM6 x AgXeed was developed in collaboration with AgXeed as a single integrated system. Control of the mower is fully integrated into the autonomous tractor’s software, ensuring that configuration, real-time monitoring, and safety functions are managed centrally and in a coordinated manner. To ensure safe autonomous operation, the AgXeed safety bumper is mounted directly on the FM6, so that the safety zone is tailored to the entire autonomous working environment rather than to the mower as a separate component.

Meal Options

There are two options for power supply. By default, the mower is powered by a PTO-driven generator, a robust and proven solution that provides independent power generation for the mowing system. Optionally, the FM6 x AgXeed can be connected directly to the AgXeed tractor’s 700-volt DC output. This direct power supply reduces energy losses, increases drivetrain efficiency, and minimizes mechanical wear by eliminating additional energy conversions.

Working width, cutting height, and speed

With a working width of 6.15 meters, an adjustable cutting height ranging from 20 to 100 millimeters, and a maximum travel speed of 13 kilometers per hour, the machine is designed for repeated mowing of large areas with a consistent cut.
