Description

The Progressive TD-65 is a tri-deck finishing mower built for professional use on larger lawn areas. With a cutting width of 472 cm (15.5 feet), this machine is suitable for sod producers, golf courses, recreational facilities, and municipal landscaping departments that want to mow large areas efficiently and neatly.

The TD-65 features three independently floating mower decks mounted on a sturdy transport frame. Each deck follows the contours of the ground individually, allowing the mower to perform well on sloping terrain without scalping the grass. This makes the machine suitable for areas with elevation changes, such as road shoulders, sports fields, and park areas.

The machine is powered by the tractor’s PTO. With a required tractive power of 30 to 50 pk, the TD-65 achieves a mowing capacity of up to 36 hectares per hour at a travel speed of up to 10 km/h. This means that during a normal eight-hour workday, an area of approximately 90 hectares can be mowed.

The mower deck is equipped with nine blade shafts, each supported by two maintenance-free bearings. This design significantly extends the service life and reduces long-term maintenance costs. The blades are interchangeable, making replacement quick and easy. The decks’ rear discharge ensures an even distribution of clippings, without clumping or streaking.

The cutting height can be adjusted tool-free from 2.5 to 12.5 cm, making the TD-65 highly versatile depending on the desired end result. The machine comes standard with a constant-velocity (CV) drive shaft, allowing the mower to be quickly and easily attached to various tractors without having to readjust the drawbar. All controls for transport and mowing position are accessible from the tractor seat.
